Brasil Ceras idealized the Inclusive Carnauba Project for Education and Biodiversity with the obective to contribute to the education of young people, children of extractivists, inserted in the main carnauba producing regions, through actions that benefit the local biodiversity and encourage the interest of new generations in the carnauba extraction activity, forming future producers empowered with knowledge to ensure the perpetuation of the activity in this sector.
The Project aims to strengthen the carnauba activity through the insertion of a complementary training course that seeks to combat the rural exodus of young people by valuing family farming and generating work and income based on sustainable and organic agricultural techniques. The programmatic content offered by the course foresees disciplines that expound on the functioning of the carnauba productive chain, human rights, and worker's rights and safety.
