Brasil Ceras is committed to protect and act for the preservation of Biodiversity through Training and Actions that help to raise awareness of the agents involved in the carnauba production chain about the importance of contributing to environmental sustainabilitysustainability of the areas where the dust is collected.
Among the items foreseen by Brasil Ceras' Internal Control System (ICS) are:
- implement and maintain good sustainable management practices in the powder harvesting areas;
- combat burning and deforestation;
- reserve the riparian forest;
- controlling erosion in the areas where the carnauba is harvested;
- combat the use of agrochemicals;
- perform and encourage the proper disposal of waste in the environment;
- eliminate pests and invasive species;
- promote and encourage education to preserve nature.
