Projects
We are continuously committed to initiatives that improve the quality of life of all collaborators involved in our product supply chain, through projects aimed at addressing the challenges faced by rural workers, preventing irregularities, and promoting best practices.
Brasil Ceras is also guided by sustainability policies designed to create a positive environmental impact, helping to preserve the biodiversity of local ecosystems and contributing—through its products—to the development of a low-carbon economy. Learn more about our work:
Carnauba for Education and Biodiversity
The “Carnauba for Education and Biodiversity” project, supported by Brasil Ceras and corporate partners, provides scholarships to young students from carnauba-harvesting families, enabling them to complete high school and pursue technical courses such as Agribusiness, Agroindustry, or Animal Science at a renowned regional school.
In addition, students engage in advanced studies on the carnauba production chain and develop agroforestry projects on their own properties. This initiative not only promotes education and sustainable development but also creates alternative income opportunities, encouraging the spread of sustainable practices and generating economic benefits within the communities where it operates.
Carnauba Sustainability Institute

An institution founded by Brasil Ceras with the purpose of developing and managing projects and initiatives that support education, protect local biodiversity, and improve the quality of life of those involved in the carnauba harvesting industry.
We aim to address the challenges of the carnauba powder production chain through concrete initiatives that provide alternative sources of income for extractivists, promote the protection and restoration of carnauba habitats in the Caatinga and Cerrado biomes, and expand access to education for younger generations within carnauba-producing communities in the state of Piauí.
We believe that only through the protection of local biodiversity, support for education, and the economic prosperity of the people who form the foundation of the carnauba extraction industry can we ensure the sustainability and longevity of this value chain.
