We recently participated in the Human Rights Due Diligence Workshop organized by UEBT – Union for Ethical BioTrade, a global reference in ethical sourcing standards.
The experience reinforced our technical foundation and validated the direction we are already taking: a mature, concrete, and integrated approach to human rights across the carnauba supply chain.
🚀 A Milestone in Our Journey
This was another milestone in a journey that unites strategic leadership and field action. From the CEO to the sustainability, operations, and commercial directors, compliance officers, internal auditors, and field operators — our entire team was present. Because for us, human rights are a shared responsibility, not confined to one department.
🌴 Reinforcing What’s Already in Motion
In a complex context like the carnauba sector, due diligence is not the starting point — it’s the reinforcement of what’s already in motion:
- ✔️ Identifying social risks
- ✔️ Engaging directly with suppliers
- ✔️ Ensuring traceability
- ✔️ Promoting dignity, safety, and inclusive productivity
💬 Continuous Investment in Sustainability
We believe that maturity in sustainability means aligning values, decisions, and conduct across the chain. That’s why we continuously invest in:
- Training and education
- Action plans
- Listening channels
- Systems for continuous improvement
📍 Moving Forward
We move forward with coherence, courage, and responsibility. Our commitment to human rights, ethics, and fair trade is embedded in our DNA — and initiatives like this one only challenge us to go further.
🤝 Let’s Connect
If you share this vision of a responsible and sustainable future, let’s connect. Ethics is also cultivated through networks.
