The III International Pro-Carnauba Dialogues Conference, promoted by the Union for Ethical BioTrade (UEBT) and institutional partners, brought together representatives from all segments of the carnauba value chain — including producers, cooperatives, industries, international brands, public institutions, researchers, and civil society organizations. The goal was to discuss challenges, propose solutions, and strengthen commitments to sustainability, ethics, and social inclusion in the sector.
With active participation throughout the event, Brasil Ceras, alongside the Carnauba Sustainability Institute, presented results and initiatives that reaffirm its leadership in promoting a fairer and more responsible supply chain.
During the Roundtable on Women’s Leadership, Sustainability Director Ana Karinna Andrade presented the Women of Carnauba Project, highlighting the transformative role of women as multipliers of good practices and agents of change within extractivist communities.
In the Business Best Practices Panel, the company shared initiatives that demonstrate its commitment to ESG principles, the appreciation of rural workers, and the strengthening of the productive base — with a focus on transparency, inclusion, and continuous improvement of working conditions.
The company’s leadership also joined the “Carnauba Markets – Overcoming Barriers” Roundtable, which addressed strategies to expand competitiveness and enhance the value of carnauba wax in the international market. The discussion emphasized the importance of innovation, traceability, and collaboration among the various actors in the sector.
The participation of Brasil Ceras in the event reinforces its role as a reference in sustainability and social innovation, contributing to the construction of a more ethical, collaborative, and sustainable future for the entire carnauba value chain.
